The station was on one of the first railways in Romania, opened in 1857.
About the place
Jimbolia was linked to Timișoara in 1857, on one of the first railways in present-day Romania. The museum covers the events and people that passed through this border station.
The display also deals with the deportations that left along this line. Outside there is a steam crane. Visits are by appointment, and the station is at the northern end of Republicii Street.
